Far too many meetings are in fact status meetings, the purpose of which is to let the boss know how far we are.

There's nothing wrong with that if it's the agenda - but it doesn't work if the meeting notice indicates that strategy, planning, project management or something else needs to be done.

I have experienced that meetings with excessively loose agendas are experienced as a waste of time, because there are different perceptions of what the meeting should contain.
Therefore - create a clear agenda for what the meeting will cover.
And – before the meeting ends, the following must also be answered:

  • What must be done? Specifically
  • When should it be done?
  • Who will do it?

There is only one person who is responsible, because if more than one person is
, then no one is responsible.

With clear communication, planning and structure, our meetings become significantly more efficient, and we avoid wasted time and create more value in the company.

I like to offer myself coffee and share my experiences from 25 years in my own company with 100+ employees and how we solved the same challenges that many experience. Just send me a message.
